Alexan­dra Siy is all about science—even her last name makes that clear. She’s also a pho­tog­ra­pher. Cre­at­ing books that cel­e­brate the art-science con­nec­tion is her pas­sion, and she loves shar­ing that pas­sion with chil­dren of all ages.

As a vis­it­ing author, Alexan­dra brings her research and writ­ing alive in inter­ac­tive pro­grams that reveal the won­der of sci­ence through stun­ning pho­tog­ra­phy and engag­ing sto­ries. She has lived in sev­eral states includ­ing New York, Con­necti­cut, Cal­i­for­nia, Alaska, and most recently, Colorado.
